Starting This Blog

As some of you know, I am the City Administrator for the City of West Tawakoni. I wanted a blog to have a way to communicate what is happening in our city and around the lake. This is an exciting time as the area is starting to be "discovered" by homeowners and investors alike. The City has several projects upcoming in the next couple of years and almost weekly someone walks in to City Hall with an idea. We will be constructing a new water plant, have two projects at the city park, will be building five homes for low income residents, as well as a project to rehabilitate lift stations. Since coming here in May of 2005, my wife and I have fallen in love with the lake and fish it often and tall fishing tales will also become a part of this blog. Many of our family members have visited and have also become hooked on fishing.
