Wet weekend

they are calling for 2 plus inches of rain Saturday and the good news is the lake will probably go over the spillway on sunday or monday. The lake level right now is 436 even and full pool is 437.50.
Going to be lots of new shallow water for the crappie season, which should start any day now and I cannot wait

Weekend Catfish Tournament

The North Texas Catfish group held a tournament here this past weekend and it took a 5 fish stringer to weigh 211 pounds to win it- big fish was 67.5 pounds- that's amazing
The Catfish America episode that was filmed here in October will start airing on the Outdoor Network in April and we are pretty excited about that.
Spring is almost here and that means crappie season to me
