Bring on the Rain!

Water is flowing into the cove behind the house, will probably be able to move the boat back to the house this weekend. Crappie in the back yard is a real possibility this spring!
Am planning a trip to the Cleburne, Granberry area tomorrow. Next week will be in the waco-wichita falls area. Should see pretty scenery since the area received good, soaking, rains. Still thundering right now. Taking a work at home break.

First Crappie Limit of the season

Although i have been catching several crappie each trip I take, i finally took home a limit of 25 crappie today. Got through just before the storm.

Maud

Got to see every home in Maud last week as I helped out with a planning grant. It was very interesting to see that side of the process and learn a little about what all goes in to that project.
I could live in Maud. Great little bait shop with a huge selection of crappie stuff and a nice little library with wireless.
