Aransas Pass Lighthouse Weekend

Last week, Merikay and Johnny came to the lake and picked us up and we drove to San Antonio. On Friday morning, we met up with Mel's dad Fred, her brother Mike and took off for Aransas Pass. We got to stay in the lighthouse, owned by Charles Butt of HEB fame. It was a wonderful trip. Lots of food, lots of fishing (not catching), lots of good-fresh-gulf shrimp,  and Johnny and Matt got pretty good at catching blue crabs on dead shrimp. We caught a bunch of young redfish, nothing of legal size. Enjoy the photos (remember- click to enlarge)
